A Bakers Dozen

We are thrilled to report that on June 2nd a precious group of 13 gathered together joining hands and hearts for a Flock Party. In a couple of hours our volunteers made a bakers dozen of beautiful soft fleece tie blankets. These area ladies - ages 6 to their 70's combined time and talent for a very worthy project, the Royal Kids Camp of Woodstock, Georgia.
This camp is for children between the ages of 7 and 12. These kids are part of the local Foster Care program and come from some pretty tough situations. The purpose of the camp is to create positive memories for the lambs.

Fun and rewarding work for all

In two short hours fleece was spread on floor and tables, folks of all ages measured cut and tied hundreds of love knots resulting in a lovely collection of cozy wraps.

Thank you ladies for all you have done in caring for these little lambs.
